a good escape
efficient breakfast room quietness adequate daylight
i appreciated the efficient heating or cooling system within our room. the breakfast service impressed me with its efficiency, a testament to the hotel's commitment. our room, though internal, received adequate daylight and was wonderfully quiet.
The minibar charges were somewhat unclear. I wish there was clearer communication about the auto-charging system upon check-in.

The pool had a consistent depth of 1 meters. This made it very safe. kids activities were available during the holidays, and were thoughtfully planned. i especially appreciated the hotel provided entertainment.

Our room featured a microwave and fridge. These made it possible to prepare snacks easily. there was cutlery and crockery available, and this added a layer of convenience, we loved it. the layout for families was well-designed.

this hotel allowed easy access to the south bank and the area surrounding the eye. the proximity to hop-on buses aided in sightseeing. thames boat tours are available nearby, that added to the charm, and made this adventure nice.

helpful staff complimentary upgrade fabulous location poor housekeeping missing toiletries empty bottles
the staff was helpful when i needed to find a spot to buy a new charger. the reception staff, especially paula, was very friendly and gave me a complimentary room upgrade, complete with a nice view! the location of the hotel was also fabulous.
The housekeeping service was just the worst. Toiletries were only available upon request. even basic items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing! the shower gel and shampoo bottles were almost empty and were only refilled on the sixth day of my stay.

The room had a funny smell. It was not fresh. The shower temperature was also inconsistent. It would switch from hot to cold without warning, a real annoyance. There were some stains on the carpet. I found this disappointing. The TV remote was also missing, so I had to call to get one.

clear view polite staff
The staff changed my room to a floor just below the top floor with a terrace after I showed them my reservation.. I could see Big Ben clearly from the window. The staff is polite and professional. The location is excellent and is a great point to start exploring the city.
My room was close to the lifts, so every time a lift went up or down, it sounded like someone was hammering on the wall all night.

excellent location professional staff delayed room dusty surfaces
the location is superb for seeing major sights. i found it easy to walk to many attractions from the hotel. the staff were professional and helpful throughout my visit.
my room was not ready for several hours past the stated check-in time. i also noticed dust on door handles. the curtains were also damaged.

watery eggs grout attention
the breakfast was quite basic , i found it similar to what you might get at a premier inn , the scrambled eggs were watery. our room overlooked an interior courtyard , it felt a bit claustrophobic. the air conditioning was quite loud , it made it difficult to sleep soundly. i also noticed some wear and tear in the bathroom , the grout needed some attention.

my stay had notable drawbacks. initially, the room assigned showed a lack of thorough cleaning. furthermore, the promised resolution regarding a refund for the room upgrade has not materialized despite assurances. this lack of follow-through is disappointing.
